The Book Shop
The first floor of the mallWhen something caught my attentionThat fragrance was knownThe fragrance of what I cherish the mostCasually roaming around,It so happened that I found my paradiseThe comfort of the surroundings was suchI wouldn't have stepped in otherwiseInto the land of stories I got lostNever Discovered againThat part of the book I wasThey used to see me through the looking glassBut not a sound I madeThis was my paradiseAnd this is where I layI spent hours in thereNo hope of coming backTheir evil eyes stared at meWhile looking at their faces I laughedI wasn't stepping out of the book shopAnd that was my promise at lastto my brain and my soulthough the owner lost his temper pretty fastAnd you might have realizedWhat the definition of fast is to meBecause if you are someone who loves to readyou know time passes in a jiffy
